A stately house full of the grandeur of years gone by, but infused with the warmth of inviting West Coast flair
Project Summary:
Principal designer Eleanor Smith provided exterior colours, interior structural details, and comprehensive interior design services for the home, which was a lottery prize for the B.C. Cancer Foundation Lifestyles Lottery. The project features a state-of-the-art kitchen, an inviting family room, an elegant living room, an intimate dining room, and a dramatic master suite.
Design Statement:
The design is a twist of classical tradition meshed with a West Coast style of living and the soft undertones of an old English estate. A combination of heritage woods, rustic tiles, wood paneling and Farrow & Ball tones set the stage for an inviting home that suits entertaining and relaxing.
