BC Cancer Lottery Home Edition 2
B.C. Cancer Foundation Lottery Home (edition two)
A contemporary fusion of West Coast architecture, organic elements and undertones reminiscent of the Hollywood glamour era.
Project Summary:
In the second lottery home built at Bear Mountain Estates for the B.C. Cancer Foundation Lifestyles Lottery, Eleanor Smith again provided the home with its interior design, structural details and exterior colours. The project features a two-storey living room and dining room, an entertainment-focused kitchen and family room, a cozy den and a glamorous master suite.
Design Statement:
The design was given firm roots in its West Coast setting, but is accented with a twist of Hollywood glamour and contemporary architecture. Combined with organic “green” elements that bring nature inside the home, the end result embodies a timeless appeal. From the glittering mirrors and jeweled lights, to the tree core furniture, to the cultured stone fireplaces, the home’s design is a unique blend of contemporary West Coast, organic and modern elements brought together with a nod to years gone by in Hollywood.
